These terms set out how you may use CircuitStarter, what our project recommendations are (and are not), and the safety expectations that come with hands-on electronics work. Read the safety section carefully before you pick up a soldering iron. This page is general information, not legal advice.

By using CircuitStarter you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

2. What CircuitStarter provides

CircuitStarter is an educational tool that suggests beginner electronics projects based on quiz answers, along with parts lists, cost estimates and learning outcomes. Recommendations are guidance only.

3. Safety disclaimer

Electronics work involves risk. You are responsible for working safely, using appropriate low-voltage power supplies, following component datasheets and complying with local regulations.

Never work on mains voltage without qualified supervision. CircuitStarter is not liable for injury, property damage or damaged components resulting from any build.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it to distribute unlawful or harmful content.

5. Intellectual property

Site text, layout, branding and project write-ups belong to CircuitStarter unless stated otherwise. You may use project instructions for personal, educational and hobby purposes.

6. Third-party links and prices

We link to external documentation and suppliers for convenience. Parts costs are rough hobby-store estimates and will vary by supplier, region and availability.

7. Limitation of liability

The site is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the site is limited.

8. Changes and contact
